Chef Colosse

A matte-black and fire-red smoker trailer I welded for a Quebec caterer you'll spot at most of the province's festivals.

Delivered spring 2026, I welded the doors on a Saturday morning in the shop.

The brief

Chef Colosse wanted a mobile rig that could feed 300 people per service, with a look you can spot from the other end of the parking lot.

The build

A 500-gallon 1/4-inch steel cook chamber, two warming cabinets with separate doors, a brushed stainless prep surface, and the Chef Colosse logo I painted on by hand in fire red on matte black.

The outcome

Delivered 11 weeks after our first meeting. It's done 40+ events since, and Chef Colosse hasn't called me back with a problem yet.
